Engineer Gaurav Sharma, resident of Dayalbagh of Taj city Agra, had murdered his wife Lakshmi in Gurugram (Haryana). After this, he committed suicide by jumping on the service road from Kaushambi metro station in Ghaziabad. The bodies of both were brought to Agra on Monday night. The couple was cremated on Tuesday. The son is admitted in a hospital in Delhi.
Gaurav Sharma, resident of Ashok Enclave, Dayalbagh, was living in Gurugram with his family for a long time. Used to work in a company. Police had received information on Sunday night. The sound of a child crying was coming from Gaurav Sharma’s house. When the police reached home, the body of his wife Lakshmi was found lying there. The son was crying hugging his mother nearby. Later Gaurav committed suicide in Ghaziabad.
On getting information about the incident, the family members from Agra reached Gurugram and Ghaziabad on Monday. Police handed over the bodies to the relatives after post-mortem. Lakshmi’s father Rajesh Rawat said that the last rites of Gaurav and Lakshmi’s bodies were performed at the Tajganj cremation ground on Tuesday. Dhewte’s condition is critical. Due to this, he is undergoing treatment in Delhi hospital. On the other hand, Gurugram Police is busy investigating the case.
